In 1980, Monmouth Conservation Foundation accepted the donation of the development rights to 67 acres of heavily wooded lands in the area of Huber Woods off Brown’s Dock Road in Middletown from Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scudder. Avid conservationists, the Scudders were committed to preservation of land in its natural state. In ensuing years, the family has donated additional acreage. |
