Owen Easement

West Long Branch
Completed in 1994, 7+ acres

The Owens decided that they wanted to preserve one of the last farms in West Long Branch and protect the wildlife that considers it their home. So, in 1994 Bob and Mary, with the agreement of their four children, donated a conservation easement to the Foundation.

This easement restricts its future use to agricultural purposes only. In October of 2000, Bob and Mary donated the remaining fee to the Borough of West Long Branch for use as a bird sanctuary or community gardens.
