Monmouth Conservation Foundation led the effort to preserve this historic property, working collaboratively with the Monmouth County Park System, Middletown Township and the State of New Jersey Green Acre Program, all of whom contributed to the $10.4 million purchase cost.

This beautiful property, nestled on Clay Pit Creek, contains vast open fields and wetlands and provides a critical habitat for endangered and threatened species. The property is contiguous to Hartshorne Woods and is used for a variety of passive recreational activities.
