Highlights of this tour include: Conservatory Water, Loeb Boathouse, Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, Cherry Hill, The Lake, and Strawberry Fields taking you from West 72 Street to East 72 Street.

Given time constraints, you may only choose one of the tours.

Central Park was designed over 165 years ago in 1857 by the renowned landscape architect and writer Frederick Law Olmsted and the English architect Calvert Vaux, who also designed Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.

Covering over 843 acres, it is the fifth-largest park in New York City, behind Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Van Cortlandt Park, the Staten Island Greenbelt, and Pelham Bay Park.

Central Park has served as a model for many urban parks, including San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, Tokyo’s Ueno Park, and Vancouver’s Stanley Park. The park has approximately 35 million visitors annually, and is the most visited urban park in the United States.
