Phase One of the park renovations, including green space and walking paths, is now complete.

You can be a part of lasting transformation here in Monmouth County with the completion of Shrewsbury Riverfront Park in Sea Bright. MCF and Monmouth County ensured that Phase One of the park project was a success, with the creation of walking paths, open green space, and fencing along the waterfront. Phase Two is underway, with the installation of amenities like a patio, 20'x20' pavilion, and benches completed in 2023 and landscaping scheduled for spring-summer 2024. We are offering sponsorship opportunities - with the option for customized signage to be named in honor or memory of someone special - as follows:

PLANTING BEDS:

• Small: $3,000
• Medium: $4,000
• Large: $8,000

Sponsorship items and naming opportunities are limited and will be available to donors in the order in which they are received.

In addition, plans are underway by the Borough of Sea Bright and MCF to raise additional funds to expand the pavilion and pay homage to the historic Sea Bright Railroad Station. Another $10,000 is needed to fulfill the project. The additions will house train station memorabilia and a hoped-for clock tower, and the Borough hopes to complete the project in 2024.
