This year MCF is proud to honor the Scudder family's enduring commitment to conservation by remembering Richard 'Dick' and Elizabeth 'Libby' Scudder, two visionaries whose legacy spans journalism, environmental innovation, and land preservation. The Scudder family have been steadfast partners in the permanent protection of the 90-acre Scudder Preserve property right in our Monmouth County neighborhood. Fittingly, this celebration will be held at the Rumson Country Club, a place of special significance to the family, as its historic Main Clubhouse was once the home of Dick’s father, Edward Scudder.
