Mrs. USA Earth & Son, MCF Earth Day
2023 Art Contest Tote Bags

Our bags are made from 100% recycled plastic water bottles, supporting New Jersey’s plastic bag ban and helping to keep plastic out of our oceans and natural environments. They will be sold by MCF for just $15 each and support the nonprofit’s mission to acquire and preserve open space and farmland and conserve natural habitats throughout Monmouth County, New Jersey in support of outdoor recreation, agriculture, clean water, and wildlife for long-term sustainability.

We only have one home, and we must do our part to keep it healthy for generations to come. Mrs. USA Earth utilizes her crown and platform to amplify this message and spark a global impact. Together, by thinking globally and acting locally, we can make a difference and #KeepMonmouthGreen!

Crawford Pennington’s deep-rooted passion for animals led him to Monmouth Conservation Foundation, introduced by his mother, Ann Pennington, Mrs. USA Earth 2023. Recognizing the critical issue of plastic waste in our environment, Crawford aimed to align his efforts with his mother’s initiatives to make a meaningful impact.

MCF’s mission to preserve open space, save natural habitats, and protect wildlife, while educating our community deeply resonated with Ann and Crawford. Together, they envisioned a project to raise funds and awareness. This inspired the innovative concept of an art competition and sustainable tote bags.

Children from across New Jersey had the opportunity to showcase their artwork via the MCF website. A panel of judges carefully selected five winners, whose remarkable pieces, along with Crawford’s image, adorn this bag. Crafted from 100% recycled plastic bottles in the northeast by a woman-owned company, it stands as a symbol of environmental responsibility.

We appreciate your support in this endeavor to make a positive impact on our environment and wildlife.
